I plan on auditioning for Phantom Regiment in Dec., but I dont know what to play. I can play some of the charactistic studies in the Arbans Book, but I dont know if that is what they are looking for. Could someone tell me what they are looking for and what would be a good piece of literature to audition with?
Thanks

Contact Phantom and let them know you are planning to audition. They usually will tell you what they want to hear, but a good guide for most unspecified auditions is two works, one technical and one melodic, that show off your best playing. They need not be the whole work, but a 32 bar excerpt of the music.
When I played for Phantom, I did Arban # 10 and Ballad by Fitzgerald.

What do you mean by "Arban #10"? Where is that at in the Arban book?
Thanks,
