I just got the demo CD that Andy Taylor offers on his website....there is some pretty cool playing on there...all of the artists play on Taylor horns, and they sound pretty cool. Check out the CD if you get a chance. |

trumpeterb,
Who's on the CD? Taylor's web site doesn't say.

Hello Andrew
I am sorry I haven't heard or seen the CD but didn't he get Claude Deppa to play a track on it? Now that fella can play. From speaking with him he obviously knows Andy well and he plays a Chicago custom. He would have been an ideal candidate for the CD.

There are no names that "jump out" at me as being super-famous players, but just listen to the quality of the playing. It's all about the music, not necessarily who makes it. I would be willing to listen to a recording of a junior high student playing if the playing was great. |
