Some people never grow out of that age-old, high-school-kid craving for drama...

In reality, if anyone involved in the bickering on this site truly wanted it to come to an end in a mature and adult-like fashion, one would have begun ignoring the other. When you continue to react to someone trying to piss you off, they will continue to do it. When you ignore someone trying to piss you off, they'll know that they're wasting their time, and they'll move on.

This is kid's stuff, guys.

ya, those cats who get pissed and moan about other people just piss theother people off and create more bad blood . Also, I know there's people here that are trying to turn a profit (and by the way they are terrible salesmen), But here's the thing: there will always be people trying to take your money, you just gotta ignore these fellows. The mature thing to do is shut up and suck up your priide. The duel thing is a fun thing to do, but the reason for doing it is stupid, lets just have a duel for fun. It will solve anything, because the best player could be the worst teacher and vice versa.

Geez . . . all you folks spending all your times gossiping and wondering about something that doesn't affect you. OK, here's the real story of why you haven't read any more about the duel.

Actually, the duel has now gone underground and become secret.

Both parties agreed to meet, in person, sometime in early June (location to be kept secret) approximately half way between Chicago and Mobile, on the banks of the Mississippi River.

There HAVE been some significant changes in the duel. In the Deep South we have a "Code of Honor" and when you are insulted deeply a Southern gentleman has had the timeless right to enter into a duel.

Per the official, time-honored rules, when one is challenged to a duel then the person challenged gets to choose the weapon. The weapon will be single shot, Thompson Center "Contender" handguns in .223 caliber. Only one bullet will be given each person.

Duels also call for each party to have a "second," should, for any reason, either of the contentious parties are unable to perform. Since Charly is still out of the country, I volunteered to "second" Bruce, and Trickg is John's "second." Naturally, we hope that the two "Primary" guys show up!!!

The site of the duel, and all future information about it, MUST be kept totally secret, since these old fashioned duels were outlawed years back.

So . . . ONLY the four of us will know where, and when the duel will take place! Each opposing duo will paddle a bass boat out into the river in the very, very early morning. Each "second" will row the boats closer and closer. Either "Primary" will be able to stand and fire, one-handed, whenever they so choose within 100 yards and the boats draw nearer.

Each boat will contain a very heavy chain and shackle, attached to a 100 lb. concrete "anchor" and this will be shackled to each dueler's right ankle.

Should the loser suffer a fatal shot, he will be chucked off the side of the boat to sink and never be found. I assume the winner will resume posting here. Heck, maybe they'll both miss. That would be great! Then again . . . there's a chance you'll never hear from either one them again!

Sorry, I can't give all you gossipers any more information. I has to remain a top secret project, for obvious reasons.

Tom

Judging from the aim of the posts of the Duelers

I would advise you and Trickg to DUCK!!!!

A duel, huh?

How about mouthpieces at ten paces???

You can choose your make. For example, a Schilke 6a4A might have the velocity and accuracy advantage, but a 1 1/2 Bach Megatone has the stopping power if you can throw it straight.
