I'm itchin' to buy some CDs, so I'm interested in any opinions of these 2 recordings by the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra:
Live in Swing City - Swingin' With Duke
Jazz at Lincoln Center - They Came to Swing

| I've heard that from alot of people... why do you say that?? Duke wrote and performed so much beautiful music but isn't it nice to hear music by a band thats still around and made the recordings recently? Man if everyone thought about that we wouldn't need jazz players anymore... |

if you can find them i recomend you trying to find some Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra Recordings. Gary Smoly is a crucial Bari Player. good band.
