Stravinsky & Schumann, orchestration for trumpets?

Schumann, Manfred Overture
Stravinsky Firebird Suite

A community orchestra in my area is doing these 2 pieces later in the year & I was just wondering what are the orchestrations for the trumpets?

Hi KevinGA,

1) Manfred: 3 trumpets in Eb. Third one has written pedal C's near the end of the piece, meaning low F's below low C. Beautiful overture with soft choral like passage in pp for the 3 trps.

2) Firebird: I think 2 trumpets, if I remember correctly, in C. Challenging piece, lots of trp. lots of fun (lucky you, haven't got to play that one as yet). Range up to concert B below high C (high C# on Bb trp). Little double tongue solo flick in the middle. Piece ends with long brass phrase.
