Request for the Moderators

I was in the "Jazz/Comercial" forum and scrolled down to the bottom right hand side where it says "Goto Pages" and you can go to page 1-3 or 149-151. But if I want to see whats on, say, page 50 you have to click through one page at a time until you get there unless there is something I missed. Anyways I was just wondering if there was anyway to have a "Go to" box where you could type in "page 50" and jump right to it? Just a thought, I have no idea how these things work so it might not even be possible but I thought I'd try just in case. Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure what the forum software is capable of, but it is possible to get around this problem in any case. If you click on page 3, here is the actual link you're following:

http://trumpetherald.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3&topicdays=0&start=40

If you go to the address bar and change the number at the end of the URL, you can go to whatever page you want -- for instance, to go to page 50, change it to 980.

I don't know how much coding would be required to get a "go to page" control on the page ... but here's a workaround.

This URL points to the 10th page (200th thread) in the Jazz/Commercial Forum:
http://trumpetherald.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3&start=200

The "start=" tell the forum software which thread to put at the top of the page, and there are 20 threads/page. Give it a try.
