In the arrangement of "Czardas" by Monti from the Mendez collection, what exactly is meant by the designation "throat" found on lines 4 and 6 of the trumpet part? Is this meant to be a growl or some other effect?

Also, I don't a have a recording of this piece. Which album is it on?

Thanks in advance.

It is played sort of as a "kaw" sound.
