I want to be fair to trumpet herald and not ignore this forum.

It seems hard for me to find what i am looking for here.
What am I looking for?

People who really can't play trumpet, but act and post as if they are god's gift to trumpet.
People who act and answer as if they are the authority.
People who cannot play high or play high well, but love to bash the relatively few that can.

I am looking for brash and loud egos....perhaps even bigger than my own.

Feel free to hop on the train wreck that is:
TRUMPET FORUM SOUP!

Do you confine yourself to the announcements forum or something?

I'm not sure you know what you're doing there... or that you had a solid idea of what you wanted that website to be...

I especially like your "about" page. You should probably change that from the wordpress default, as it makes you look disorganized. Not that the haphazard and schizophrenic style of your main page doesn't...

http://upperregister.wordpress.com/2010/12/31/yourassinstructor-is-really/

also, I'm not sure I want to know who my a$$ instructor is.

congrats... you win at life

i'm really disappointed this post went nowhere, I was hoping for a 9 page, frantic-insult-laden flame war that ended someone's career. Oh, well, there is always next time...

If it helps... in my very short period of signing on here I have never found so many musical snobs and bigots in a short space of time...but in either case ie old farts

BUT there are some nice helpful people here also...

.how can you spot the self inflated member?...they list all of there Trumpets etc as their sig, same as other forums they list their super duper computer system at the bottom. Well you know the type of thing.

I'll leave you with 2 things :

Miles Davis quote, listen to all music, take what you like and leave what you do not like

Jimi Hendrix could not read music
