In addition to Frank Foster, we also lost another legend Yesterday. RIP to legendary L.A. trumpeter George Graham.

Besides being one of the nicest guys around, George was one of the best players. he will be sorely missed.

That is sad to hear. He was a great lead player and had a sound that I loved.

Back in 2003 I had an opportunity to spend some time with George and his wife Marilyn at their home in Apple Valley CA. It was a wonderful experience. He was recovering from a stroke at that point. I guess he never recovered 100%.

It is sad to see such a nice guy and great player pass away. Godspeed
