| bumping this up for a question. I just received a DPA 4099 Mic with the trumpet mount. I have a Bach Artisan B flat and the clip is not firm at all. It flops around. Did I get a defective unit or is it a common problem? |

You just bend the clip ends inward and it sits firmly. It is metal inside, so it will bend easily.
