More conventionally. this is DNFTT (do not feed the troll).

Totally ignoring a troll is more effective that DNFTT, but DNFTT is far preferable to trying to reason with a troll.

Why anyone would/could become obsessed with something someone else has written and didn't even intend for said person to be the sole recipient is beyond me. If there are posts/posters one does not want to read- don't read it in the first place. (DFRIITFP) Sad world in which some choose to live...

It is sad what people will say and do to total strangers. It is an outflow of a beef with someone else, probably, and they can hide behind a screen.

I guess I'll just wait till it gets ready to swing its big ol' club at you, whip out my wand and perform a Leviosa spell, then while its looking dumbfounded because it doesnt know what happened to its club, I'll let the thing drop on its head and knock it unconscious.......watch out for those Troll bogeys! hehehe

For the sake of the country, we need to keep him here where we can keep an eye on him...
