Planning on being there all week! From my only other ITG attendance, I expect to be fully engaged and overwhelmed with which activities to attend, and which I'm forced to miss. With a total of 0 time spent in the hotel or it's facilities to justify expense of $139 / room.
So my 2 questions are: based on location, how feasible will it be to find cheap accommodations? (I'll be driving)
Availability of practice rooms? (And is playing in the hotel rooms kosher?) |

That's not a bad price for the Grand Plaza. It's a very nice hotel and will be central to all that is going on. There are other options downtown Grand Rapids and you will have to check. If you stay out of Grand Rapids, the price drops but you have to factor in the time to drive in and then parking and etc. Grand Rapids is a very nice and walkable city with a good public transit system. Lots of cool things to do and see to if you are bringing others who are not as trumpet geeky as we are _________________ Schilke S32 ML
