@underdog:
I understand you want to advertise your brand but is really necessary to post the exact same ad in 4 different threads? _________________ Yamaha Xeno 8335 Bb Trumpet

Dear totrumpet. Sorry to have bothered you with my posts. The last time I updated or posted anything on any of my products was 3 1/2 months ago. Personally I don't think that I do much in the way of "clogging" up the TH...
I am pretty busy as a dad, small business owner, and player, so yes, this was necessary. This was the time that I had to put the info on the posts pertaining to my mouthpieces, so I did it all at once. Again, I'm very sorry to have bothered you with it.
By the way, I've read some of your posts and noticed that you're a student in high school and that you're checking out a lot of equipment. May I suggest that you check out PATRICK mouthpieces. It's a great mouthpiece line aimed at players that need to be able to cover a lot of ground musically with a lot of diversity regarding shapes and sizes of cups and rims. _________________ https://lessonswithstudiomusicians.com/

Post away, Steve -- there are other small businessmen that post far more than you ever do. I played a gig with Joe M. last week. Wow, incredible tuba player. Listened to the Maynard tribute CD again -- you ARE the man. |

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with advertising. Advertising how you make your product known. If weren't for advertising I would never have even known that Patrick mouthpieces existed. I just feel its a little spam-ish to post the same ad 4 times in a row. _________________ Yamaha Xeno 8335 Bb Trumpet

@ToTrumpet014 Steve is one of the best players on this board and is constantly working making a living playing the trumpet and selling his mouthpieces. Something most of us including you can only dream of. You have heard him on countless recordings and don't even know it. Lucky for you, he is the nicest person you will ever meet and was very kind in his response to you.
One thing I didn't see from you is an apology to Steve. Perhaps one is in order?
Good luck with your playing. And take Steve's advice and look at Patrick Mouthpieces. you won't be disappointed. |

This is why I can't stand this forum at times. Such negativity.
1) I just purchased one of Steve's mouthpieces, and quite simply, it feels great. I am a lead trumpet player, and the 91S is for me.
2) Prior to getting my mouthpiece, I sent Steve an email asking him advice on mouthpiece selection, and he quickly sent me great feedback. I don't know him personally, but he was very nice, and very professional through email.
3) This thread is about his mouthpieces, so he has a right to talk all he wants (or as you put it, advertise) about his mouthpieces. _________________ My go-to Trumpet and Flugel: Thane.

Also, is anyone familiar with the Patrick 1.5C mouthpiece. I've been looking for a mouthpiece that sounds like big mouthpiece while not feeling overly large and from the description on his website, I think it may be what I'm looking for. Can anyone weigh in? _________________ Yamaha Xeno 8335 Bb Trumpet

Steve's phone is on his website. Give him a call or post on here to Underdog and if he's not busy spamming he will help you out.
Guys I know who have played it like it, but I am not that familiar with his larger pieces.... |

I have a Patrick 1.5C. It doesn't feel very big at all. The rim gives a lot of support and is probably the most comfortable rim I have ever played on. It is actually for sale so if you would like to try it out, hit me up with a pm or email me at blake.unger@att.net |
