I'll pay you to come get rid of my kids crap and mine too! I'd be good with 30 cents on the dollar at this point!!! A lot of horns that I'd love to have in my arsenal if I could get them!

Hi everyone. My entire mouthpiece line, with the exception of the 2 piece models will be available at ITG through Dillon music.
Dillon music is the only store that stocks my mouthpieces in the USA, so if you're interested in trying them out first hand, check out the Dillon booth!

Here's what will be there.
105 models all together.

Standard classical models
Commercial models
F/T models (Hybrid trumpet/flugel mouthpieces)
flugel models
signature models
CR models (Comfort rim)
Vintage models (my take on Jet-tones from the 60's through early 80's era)

For more info on individual models, please check out my website.

http://www.patrickmouthpieces.com

Thanks everyone!

@underdog:

I understand you want to advertise your brand but is really necessary to post the exact same ad in 4 different threads?

Dear totrumpet. Sorry to have bothered you with my posts. The last time I updated or posted anything on any of my products was 3 1/2 months ago. Personally I don't think that I do much in the way of "clogging" up the TH...

I am pretty busy as a dad, small business owner, and player, so yes, this was necessary. This was the time that I had to put the info on the posts pertaining to my mouthpieces, so I did it all at once. Again, I'm very sorry to have bothered you with it.

By the way, I've read some of your posts and noticed that you're a student in high school and that you're checking out a lot of equipment. May I suggest that you check out PATRICK mouthpieces. It's a great mouthpiece line aimed at players that need to be able to cover a lot of ground musically with a lot of diversity regarding shapes and sizes of cups and rims.

Post away, Steve -- there are other small businessmen that post far more than you ever do. I played a gig with Joe M. last week. Wow, incredible tuba player. Listened to the Maynard tribute CD again -- you ARE the man.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with advertising. Advertising how you make your product known. If weren't for advertising I would never have even known that Patrick mouthpieces existed. I just feel its a little spam-ish to post the same ad 4 times in a row.

@ToTrumpet014 Steve is one of the best players on this board and is constantly working making a living playing the trumpet and selling his mouthpieces. Something most of us including you can only dream of. You have heard him on countless recordings and don't even know it. Lucky for you, he is the nicest person you will ever meet and was very kind in his response to you.

One thing I didn't see from you is an apology to Steve. Perhaps one is in order?

Good luck with your playing. And take Steve's advice and look at Patrick Mouthpieces. you won't be disappointed.

This is why I can't stand this forum at times. Such negativity.

1) I just purchased one of Steve's mouthpieces, and quite simply, it feels great. I am a lead trumpet player, and the 91S is for me.

2) Prior to getting my mouthpiece, I sent Steve an email asking him advice on mouthpiece selection, and he quickly sent me great feedback. I don't know him personally, but he was very nice, and very professional through email.

3) This thread is about his mouthpieces, so he has a right to talk all he wants (or as you put it, advertise) about his mouthpieces.

Look, I don't care that he advertised its just that he posted the same ad in 5 different threads at the same time.

http://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=105104&start=120

That's a bit excessive, don't you think?

Doing it one time is completely fine, making an entirely new thread to do it is fine, but 5 times is spamming.

By the way, I don't have any beef with Mr Patrick as a person. I've heard his playing on the Loud Horns album and I agree, he's a great musician and from his posts he seems like a really nice guy.

Also, is anyone familiar with the Patrick 1.5C mouthpiece. I've been looking for a mouthpiece that sounds like big mouthpiece while not feeling overly large and from the description on his website, I think it may be what I'm looking for. Can anyone weigh in?

Steve's phone is on his website. Give him a call or post on here to Underdog and if he's not busy spamming he will help you out.

Guys I know who have played it like it, but I am not that familiar with his larger pieces....

ToTrumpet014

I have a Patrick 1.5C. It doesn't feel very big at all. The rim gives a lot of support and is probably the most comfortable rim I have ever played on. It is actually for sale so if you would like to try it out, hit me up with a pm or email me at blake.unger@att.net

If anyone is thinking about the 1.5C, they should think about the RB3B or the 3C as they are not much different i.d. wise from the 1.5C
It kind of depends what you are specifically using it for on which I would recommend...

PostPosted: Wed Jan 08, 2014 8:26 am    Post subject: PATRICK Mouthpieces rate increase Reply with quote

Hi everyone. I have a rate increase that is coming in February.
My manufacturing prices and shipping/handling prices are all going up and I can only absorb so much before I have to pass some of these increases along to the consumer.

Anything that is bought this month will be at the current rates. I'm pretty fully stocked right now, but if I run out of anything and it's delivered after this month, but paid for in January, it'll be at the current rate as well.

The one piece models will all go up $6.
Back-bores will go up $5.
Tops will go up $5 as well.

Thanks to all who have supported me so much in this business venture and I wish you ALL a very happy New Year!

If you're in the South Carolina area, try and come to the South Carolina Festival this weekend. Here's the link to their site. I'll be doing two master classes on Saturday, have my whole line of mouthpieces with me, and be playing a concert that evening with the Electric City Big Band.

PATRICK Mouthpieces will now be available at Thompson Music as well as through me directly.

http://www.thompsonmusic.com

They won't have product up on their website for a bit, but give Mike a call and tell him what you're looking for.

Also, check out their wide selection of horns. They're a GREAT resource for all of us brass players!

I'm very happy to say that I will finally be able to be at my first ever ITG conference this year. I'll have a table in the main room with all of my lines of mouthpieces.

Thompson music will also have my product present at their table. Please stop by, introduce yourself and try the pieces out. I will be present at the table all day every day. Thanks!
