Colleagues,
I'm just interested to know how many of you use the audio accompaniment with the Stamp book, and whether you find this helpful. Thanks! _________________ John-Thomas Burson

I have on occasion used the cd but not very often. I do use the drones from the Chase Sanborn book/cd "Tuning Tactics" quite often while doing #3 on the horn. I find it really wakes up my ears to hear all of the different interval relationships on each line.
Also, that way I am not tied to the tempo on the cd and if I want to repeat a particular line or play it faster/slower I can do that. _________________ Scott Apelgren

I have the older edition of the BIM book that didn't come with a CD, but I do occasionally use the "Tuning CD" which is basically just drones when I am practicing. I'm not sure that Tuning CD is even available anymore? Haven't looked in years for it. |
