Hi
My name is Yiannis and i am from Greece the courtois evolusion II is vere very heavy horn i thing the sound is little stuffy and the price is very high , you must try Getzen etrna LB the best for the money horn you can get.
Please tell me some address of trumpet shops in Rome i'll be thear in the end of the september and i really want to try some horns .
Regards
Yiannis

The EVO 1 actually doesn't have a double bell. It's the lighter model that has heavy braces but no double bell. I love mine and it sounds awesome. It blends extremely well and has excellent intonation.

Marco,

read this thread:

http://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/viewtopic.php?topic=4048&forum=7

some one did seem ok with the single bell version but the double bell got some strange reviews, including my own...

I think...This is LeBlanc trying to be Monette. Nice try. Stick to the student model horns. When I say student model that includes the Maynard and Arturo horn. BLECH

Do not trust a guy whose mother gave him a number instead of a name.
Le Blanc is not Courtois. Courtois is property of a German company.
Le Blanc is only a distributor, Nr. 72*.
The Evo is a superior trumpet, but the Evo 1.

I agree... If your going to base your premise on the fact that the Maynard horn is bad, I have to disagree with you there. I found it to be a good horn for the cash and a very good player. Just because Monette started the "heavier is better" fad, doesn't mean everyone who makes a horn with sheet bracing on it is an imitator.
