Roy Poper said it was roughly the size of a Bach 1.25 with the throat opened up quite a bit.

I have an Irving Bush cornet mpc. Other than Irving Bush there are no other marks. It is severely pitted but still a great piece? Is anyone making a copy of the cornet Irving Bush piece still and is this similar to the Trumpet Irving Bush Mpc? |

HornTrader also sells Bush mouthpieces. He has a model chart that includes some comparisons, too.

Jimmy played on a Bush WX1 which was bored out to make it deeper.
The bowl was huge and the opening from the bowl to the backbore was huge. It was manufactured by Irving Bush from the WX1 while Bush and Stamp played together with the Pasadena Symphony.
Jimmy sounded huge, every note perfect and centered, from a petal "c" to the extreme upper range. _________________ John M. Beringer, Jr.
