Hi I am selling my Olds Custom - Ultrasonic Leadpipe, L for about $1000 US
It has been totally overhauled and replated with Silver Plate, comes with a hard case.
It is a beautiful horn Custom Crafted in the 1970's apparently in Fullerton California
S/N 916536

I would also consider swapping for a similar condition Flugel

Buyer to pay shipping from Australia

Thanks

Chris

Nice horn ... but Ultrasonic was the marketing name for the way that Olds fused the bell, it has nothing to do with the leadpipe (other than being engraved there!).

Point on Alan's site for the Custom:

Plus info on what the name 'Custom' was meant to be:

Thanks for the info, the guy who I got it off lead me to believe it was from the 1950's but later on I found that according to the Serial Number it is probably from 1974.
Ultrasonic was the only info available on the leadpipe, which is why I included it.
It looks like a P12L from the photos on that Olds site.
