Kurt Thompson... wut?

I've been seeing this guy posting all over the internet for about a year now.

The way he goes about promoting himself sometimes is a bit too far I think. I'm not sure what other people have seen or your opinions about his marketing methods, but they are a bit too aggressive for my liking...

I was on Greg Spence's great website (www.mystertomastery.com) today and low and behold, in the comments for one of his videos is this:

I think it's a bit schmary especially considering that Greg has a great website that provides a LOT of really helpful videos and explanation etc for free and here is this guy sending people to a website FULL of sales copy...

Lots of sales talk trying to press players buttons to get them to fork out $600 for his course.

Is it just mean or is this offensive?

Anyone considering the Kurt Thompson rub down, I suggest you check out www.mysterytomastery.com first and see who is interested in helping vs. who just wants his paycheque.

A while back, Mr. Thompson posted in this forum and trashed a bunch of respected players... even going so far as to post a video "showing" how weak they were and how strong he was. The thread was eventually deleted by the moderators. I would think you could find a good number of instructors who could give guidance on the upper register without the attitude.
