I have a Silver Buescher Trumpet serial number 88 that I am looking to find more information about. I know a little about this company. I'm trying to get a price estimate for it so I can sell it. If anyone has any information on it or what model or any information about the trumpet feel free to let me know.

If that serial number really is 88, it could be worth... slightly more than if it wasn't. Need lots of pictures.
(the mouthpiece that came with a more-likely horn you might have is 88-D... which isn't the serial number)

I'll have to get the pictures when I get off of work which will be tomorrow morning. What do the horns normally run for? And it seems to be in good to great condition. It does not have any dents or dings. It does have a little wear from people holding it I'm guessing. And I know that records from serial numbers 1-5000 are harder to place because of a fire. But thank you for responding. And I know about the mouthpiece, but the serial number for the trumpet is on the side of the horn where they normally are and that says 88. What pictures do you need? |

You can send them to tjk@gentledarkness.com
If it's truly serial 88 then it's probably the earliest horn known (and is more likely to be a cornet).
