I'd send then both a message with a pointer to both auctions and ask for an explanation. And let them know you'll advise eBay if they don't reply! _________________ Bill

Pretty strange. Two horns, two serial numbers, two sellers, two schedules, two prices, same photo. I don't get it. This may be a case for the folks from CSI. _________________ Jim Hatfield

The seller with the newer listing has 3 negatives. I'd bet the older listing is legit.

Somebody do SOMETHING now, before an innocent person gets hooked.
(a few moments later...)
I emailed both high bidders. Same person on both listings! Weird.

I emailed the the auction that looks legit. I also posted in the safety harbor discussion forum.

You might want to read that. The last time I posted something like this in a discussion forum I listed the auctions and recieved a warning from ebay! I tried to be a little more discreet this time.

Try e-mailing this address with details of the two auctions:

I've had good results reporting questionable sellers to this address. _________________ John Haysom

I wrote ebay. This was their response. I omitted the name of the ebay rep.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to alert us to these listings. I
understand how this situation could be of some concern.
I have reviewed the information that you provided regarding the use of
images or text in item numbers 2560071325 & 2559120832, but at this
point find that I do not have enough evidence to show that the member
has violated any eBay rules.
Regrettably, we will only be able to take action if the owner of the
images or text writes to us. In some instances, sellers may have
obtained permission to use the material. Therefore, we often cannot
remove listings based on the representations of third parties whose
credentials we cannot verify.
We do understand the potential for further issues in this type of
situation. That is why, if you feel strongly about this issue, we
recommend that you contact the owner of the images or text, and
recommend that they contact us directly. Once we hear from them, we
will take appropriate action.
We appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns.
Thank you participating in the eBay community.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.
Regards,
