Hi, Joe

Mr. Adam doesn't have a book out. He believes that how the trumpet sounds (tone, volume, articulation, etc.), even on exercises, is almost more important than what the exercise is. He also doesn't believe in any kind of "one size fits all" routine (contrary to widely held belief). Therefore, it is very hard to convey his/our approach in print.

There is a video series he did a few years ago that is better than a book because you can hear his approach being demonstrated with students. There are also a few relatively good articles floating around. Info on the videos and links to some of the artilces can be found at http://www.roth-music.com/Bill-Adam/teachings.html

Are you in Las Vegas? Walter Blanton is one person there who spent a lot of with Mr. Adam and could be very informative to you.

Pat
