Hey MFaddicted, I can only speak for myself but in regards to Arturo, but I appreciate Arturo because "he has the fastest fingers in the west" as you state, AND his artistic depth :)

Jeez, not that being a dope addict is anything to brag about but most of you know nothing about "the life" (and I hope you never find out either)

I unfortunately know more than I should (lets leave it at that).

When you've "got" life is beautiful.......All you want to do is practice, play, enjoy your horn. And when you haven't "got" you just lay there in bed sweating, shaking, and running to the bathroom every 10 minutes..... When you are in withdrawl the last thing in the whole world you want to do is even look at a trumpet.

All I can say about Chet is that with all the traveling he did he must have had great "connections" all over the world. Or maybe because he was a "star: he had no trouble copping wherever he went. Maybe people just gave him sh!t because of who he was.

But everybody, I don't care who you are or how much money you have (unless maybe you are Keith Richards) winds up having a supply problem sooner or later, and that's when the sh!t hits the fan.......
