only here it is, in your opinion how much costs a 6445F in good condition? because on the internet there are 6445 but not with F
thank you for your help
(Excuse my mistakes and my English because I'm French;)) |

I am afraid you don't understand, I think a 6445F trumpet WILL NOT EXIST!!!
What kind of trumpet DO YOU WANT??
Or is it that you don't care AT ALL???
Panta rei?
IF a 6445F trumpet might exist (what I don't believe) it will be very useful to play the reveille every day from your balcony.
Si une 6445F existe (que je ne crois pas) cést une trompette spéciale pour l'opéra Aída et je ne crois pas que tu veux investir á une trompette comme cela. |

As others have said, this must be an error in the model number. If it's a YTR6445, then it's an older model C trumpet.
The only way is to look in person and play test this horn. You might look on Ebay to see if you can get comparison pricing. I have no idea without at least seeing a picture of the horn in question. Good luck with this. |

I reconnected with the person selling this trumpet
He looked out the number registered
and confirmed that it is indeed a F |

OK, lots of fun and so on with your 6445F trumpet, you are anyway the only person in the world with that trumpet so you can consider yourself as "the one". |

To add a measure of sanity to this topic - Yamaha make MANY models of instrument for specific markets. To be abusive of or shout at someone due to one's own ignorance is disappointing.
Since James Morrison has moved his endorsements to Schargel, his Yamaha trumpet, model YTR6335J (and 6335Jii) are now known as YTR6335A. you con't get them in other markets. Same goes for the trombone model...
I have a kid with a YTR2335E. Never seen one before... so the F on the end of the model may stand for France, for flat, flugel, fooled you, etc. etc.
Remember folks, there's a great big wonderful world out there, and you ain't seen it all. Yet...
cheers

No kidding. Unless you actually know every model of Yamaha - which you probably don't, because there are a zillion of them - chill out, man. Jeez. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

OK, ok, I saw later that the OP is from France, I got a little bit impatient because of his way of answering some questions but now I think the OP may have problems with understanding in English. It seemed to me very uncommon that a large bore C-trumpet has a seller who knows nothing of trumpets but it is indeed possible. Besides, there seems to be a bigger than average market for C-trumpets in France.
Still I don't believe "there's a lot of series F because...". |

Hi Andy
I've never seen a YTR-2335E, but I used to own a YTR-2320E and an ex boyfriend had a YTR-4320E. I guess that the E stood for Europe, but seem to disappear from the model number in the UK, with the introduction of the 2335 and 4335. Sounds like the E remained somewhere.
Take Care

The E definitely stood for Europe. I think the difference was in the mouthpieces supplied with the instrument and the numbering was more important on the cardboard outer boxes when they were shipping them. _________________ Bb - Scherzer 8218W, Schilke S22, Bach 43, Selmer 19A Balanced

Can't see the picture, still very curious for the 6445F. You see if there is a 6445F there must be very few of them.
Yamaha uses the F at the end of the number for the fanfare trumpets, so there is a YTR 6321F and a 6330F.
There is also an YTR 948FFM but that means Frankfurt am Main. |

Maybe the E stands for ex boyfriend and/or ex girlfriend depending on you sex and/or sexual preference? |

Or the e stands for exit. Particular if your playing is not great. |

Perhaps, it's YTR6445E, and the lower part of the E is missing, due to wear or imperfect stamping. _________________ '75 Bach Strad 180ML/37
