Well, I'm impressed! I received 3 bottles of the regular Monster valve oil today. They shipped it very fast! Cleaned the valves in my old Benge and applied this stuff. Someone described it as a "silky" feel. I agree. My valves are very silky and slick. I think I'll go with the thinner formula next time though. My valves are not as fast as they were with Hetman #2 but, that is due to the thickness of the regular Monster oil. Still, the valves are faster than me anyway. This is good stuff guys!

Thanks for the kind words Cliff! Our policy is to send out a different viscosity free of charge if you don't think yours is right. Please PM me a reminder of your address and we'll get a bottle of "Faster" out to you right away.

Best,

OK, so we've decided to periodically run some TH-only specials just for our biggest fans over here on the Herald.

We wanted to start this one with a bang so here goes:

Our Complete Package (normally $20) can be yours for $14.95 with FREE SHIPPING by entering the coupon code "TH" at checkout!
The Complete Package includes:
1 Original Valve Oil
1 Slide Oil (for 1st and 3rd slides)
1 Slide Grease - very thick and goopy.

AND, if you want a Valve Oil other than Original (like Faster or Smoother), then just leave a note in the comments at checkout which Valve Oil you'd like.

Oh, almost forgot the link:

I didn't get past page one before I ordered my set!

Really wishing I would have seen that sweet discount. Oh well, I don't mind supporting you all a few bucks more.

Can't wait to see how well it performs when I perform!

Hmmm... Just tried it and it worked for me.
Put the complete package in your bag. Then go to the shopping bag. Then put the code th in. Then checkout.

If it still doesn't work for you then just PayPal $14.95 to monsteroilllc@gmail.com and leave a note.

Please drop me a pm if you are still having problems.

Best,

Tom

Went there, did that. It wants to charge me $23.04 incl shipping.
If I click "Place Order" it's going to charge that price.
Maybe we should forget it.

If you have a PayPal account then you can just send money to monsteroilllc@gmail.com. Send $14.95 and we'll get you the stuff.

Or mail us a check.

Or barter.

Or pay us at ITG.

Sorry for the trouble.

Best,

Tom

I got my valve oil, slide oil, and tub of slide grease in the mail today!
It really is the best valve oil I've used so far.

Thanks for the great products, Monsters!

Hey Monsters, how thick is your slide grease?

I've got a dump slide on my third valve slide instead of a water key and it is a bit loose. I don't want to send my horn out for a repair because the problem has been fixed by using Ultra Pure's Heavy slide grease.

So, is your slide grease as heavy as the Ultra Pure Heavy?

Also, I already ordered a complete package this morning, hoping to be able to lube my entire horn with one brand (I already use the oil).

It's pretty thick. Funny you mentioned this though because we just ordered slide grease that is even thicker. Probably be up and running with that in a couple weeks. If you find the stuff you receive a little thin send me a pm and we'll send you one of the new ones.

Best,

Tom

My horn is now switched entirely to Monster Oil products! The grease is fairly thick and seems to be handling that loose slide so far. If it doesn't last as long as I would like I might look into that thicker grease you guys are pursuing.

But overall, great products and great service! Thanks

Ok so on my daily player I've been using T2, since it was new. The old stuff, not the new concoction. Cleaned it thoroughly and switched to Monster, with the fast oil. WOW! Much better. And that's saying a lot, with what I'm comparing it to. Finally my favorite horn to play has valves that actually feel good.

So I'm down to "only" having 3 Kanstul made horns. The first one of these for me to clean to a disgusting degree of perfection is now re-assembled, and also oiled with the fast version of Monster. I always loved everything about this horn, including the valves.

Now they're even better

This is comparing it to Ultra-Pure. (For some reason my Kanstul valves don't do well with T2)

I've got a couple sets of Bauerfeind valves to go ... pretty sure I'll also try to the fast formulation on those. (Who knew I was such a speed demon?)
