I'm ignoring this thread, but has anyone ever heard of a Sungerland trumpet, brand or trade name?

BTW I grew up on whole milk right out of the farmers cooler, not pasteurized or anything, I'm sort of normal.

Thanks Mark. Another funeral tomorrow, hope that's it for a while! And hope you are feeling better.

Summers on the farm we used to skim the heavy cream off the bucket for our cereal.

My normalcy has been questionable for decades. Probably not the milk.

Trying hard to ignore the fact that rented music should at *least* be readable, but often isn't.

Last year one of the wind ensemble pieces had some of the notes in one measure erased to holes, nothing to ignore there...

2018 ognoring has commenced, along with some ::tips::, wombats, a bowl of curry (not the vindaloo!), and...well...I would LOVE to have a nice beer but...

...baby silverstar is due in July, so that beer is gonna have to wait a hot minute.

THAT JUST MEANS I GET ALL OF THE EBROWNIES! *maniacal laughter*

*runs away in a pink wig with all the brownies*

Carry on.

here's the story in a nutshell. I joined The TH in 2004. At that time I didn't know much about the website and I was in the "horns" area asking a question about something to do with my trumpet. I found out the answer on my own and since I did not know how to delete my post, I just wrote "Ignore This Post"...and then the jokes followed. It went viral immediately and never stopped. In fact, it was such a monster thread that it eventually shut down the TH and had to be removed. Since the moderator at the time didn't archive it so the original ITP was lost forever. BUT, then I was urged and inspired to continue the thread only this time it had been moved to the lounge...and used up all of it's allowed pages as ITP had forced a TH rule change.

Here is what is still currently posted from the moderators.....

Long threads cause numerous problems, such as the recent crash caused by "Ignore This Post". Well before that length they cause system slow-downs. As a result, a new policy is being implemented by the TH sysadmin and enforced by the Moderators which limits threads to 125 pages. At that point, the thread will be locked and a new one started. We are not anticipating going through all current and older threads at this time, though if long old threads resurface they will likely be pruned.

It is suggested that, once a thread hits 100 pages, contributors consider starting a new one themselves (ITP II, or something).

Thanks for understanding! - Moderators

By this time I was already known as "The Creator"...and Soooooo....I contiunued the ITP 2nd incarnation. That brought in a new and younger group of followers who had chronic running private jokes about pink wigs, curry, and othere stuff..that I never commented on directly. After ITP part 2 was archived, the moderators asked me if I wanted to contuinue my thread...and although posting and traffic has slowed immensely, I felt it was okay to continue.

That's how all this got started. So in summation...ITP was started by accident and grew into the largest and longest thread in the history of the Trumpet Herald. Some consider it a cult. I am not a cult leader type...although I would jokingly act like I was omnipotent etc. It was all just fun and games.

I THINK I've described it pretty well..but I may have missed a few details.

Anyway...welcome to this thread and please remember to always..."Ignore This Post"...lol.
