Been diligently practicing my BE routine, in principle every day since January this year; often RI:s twice or mostly three times a day - in association with the RO:s always beginning my day with gradually fatter double low C:s, lately the C below them.
Then the Lip flexibilities - watching my range creeping upstairs, slowly slowly(now on a regular basis E sometimes very close to F/F#); now able to use a rather deep Denis Wick having gotten stamina to last hard rehearsals.
But the RI:s troublesome, getting tired quickly although after warming up on G:s; later then over to C:s as starting point. Today, placing the mpc on my RI prepared lips and.....what came out?? A high D and I was able to do the whole show down to G!
I just had to write this - like I have written before- absolutely amazing. And close to New Years Eve I will celebrate my 74:th birthday!!
And, really, I have never played better in my life! Sound bigger, chops feels so comfortable and...reliable!! For the first time.

But you gotta practice a lot eh? Sure! But itīs paying off.

Congrats on your progress and success but, really, when I saw the title of this thread I fully expected your post to be:

" ... a shot rang out!"

Maybe I have read too many Peanuts cartoons in my life.
