Should have done this ages ago!

I have had this bag since around 1990, and beeing a great bag I have allways found it problematic to carry if you dont carry it with the strap diagonally over your chest. Carrying over one shoulder meant thet it bashed into things or fell down all the time.

Two new fastening points for the strap and voila! As easy to carry as my single bag! Takes up minimally more space when standing on the tram or bus, and just as easy to carry on the back as before.

It’s quite old, and when I order a new one from The Cronkhite company, it will be with the extra D-rings!

I believe that Glen Cronkhite sold the company to Steve at Torpedo bags.

Exactly! So great to see that they continue to make these cases. The quality is in my opinion unbeaten. Yes, its a gig bag so one has to be mire careful than with one of the more tank-like cases that’s out there-but the beauty of them is that they offer the best protection a gig bag can give ä, and it’s just so much easier to keep your horns close to you. And therefore protected.

I prefer my Cronkhites over my Bonna’s when flying for instance. They are super easy to stove under the seat in front of you, and actually be able to open a bit to get you iPad or book out.
