A friend gave me an old Conn 5 trumpet mouthpiece. Does anyone know what it would be close to as far as a modern Bach mouthpiece? i.e. 1C, 3C, 5C etc. _________________ Bach Stradivarius 37, Bach Stradivarius 43, Bach Stradivarius NY7, Bach Stradivarius 239, Bach Stradivarius Long Model Cornet 37, Bach 5C, Bach 3C Megatone |

My Bach 5C has more of a rounded rim. I see you list a 5C in your signature. How does the Conn 5 rim compare to the Bach 5C ? _________________ GeorgeB

Probably about like a 10-1/2E. They are small-diameter, shallow mouthpieces. _________________ "Brass bands are all very well in their place - outdoors and several miles away ." - Sir Thomas Beecham |
