I just heard him on NPR the other night and he was killing it.

I wasn't a fan before but now I am!

it was with the BBC orchestra celebrating Dizzy & Ella's 100th birthdays

Yeah, people tend to pigeon-hole him because he doesn't mind putting on a good show for the less-serious crowds that just want to hear some swing tunes, which is probably 90% of the gigs he does. But when he's given the chance to do more adventurous stuff, it always brings it home with some really startling and innovative stuff.

I've seen him play trumpet one handed playing piano with the other. Look up basin st blues
