"Lotsa youse guys are smart"

Borrowing mobster diction for a minute. Right after our Memorial Day gig this year and sitting down for coffee and wine at our director's house. Found myself enthralled by one of the most fascinating discussions Ive ever had. One of the topics had to do with matters concerning the Thorium Liquid Molten Salt Reactor. Which I wont address much specifically now because by its very nature it might eventually invite discussion matters frowned upon by the moderators. So any kind of in depth discussion of the subject, esp thoughts expressed pro and con I will leave absent. That and will encourage others to similarly avoid taking that path.

My actual topic is not about the LMSR nor energy. Nor even nuclear power or otherwise. Instead I was most impressed at how many trumpet playerz in our group not only recognized the subject but were able similarly to contribute plenty of input! Impressive as heck my friends!!

Normally I feel lucky if even just one person a year bumps one of my topics on the subject. And that's on a dedicated online forum or discussion group. Instead? At this table I was almost starting to have trouble keeping up with the other fellows.

I would guess that trumpet players represent a sizeable portion of former high school students who finished near the top of their class. And/or successfully ran for class president.

Just my opinion. And something which prior to today I never would even have gilven much thought to. You guys are interesting. Lemme tell ya!

Ya might take this up with Kim Jong Un... Don't think he plays trumpet but he'd probably off me for mentioning it, too.
