Congratulations to recent Colburn grad Hayato Tanaka for winning the audition for 3rd trumpet with the Tucson Symphony. Way to go, Hayato!

Congrats to Hayato and to you Jim! I'd head for Colburn myself if I was just mumble years younger! _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

Congratulations Hayato. While I don't make it down to Tucson Symphony concerts very often, I do visit Tucson regularly to see family (North side of town in Oro Valley). I played a job several years ago with Betsy Bright at Lutheran Church of the Foothills and you will certainly enjoy having her as a member of the section (a very fine player)!
Well done MrClean! Two thirds of the Tucson Symphony have now come through your studio! _________________ Derek Reaban
