If I were to get a 1 1/2 C with a No. 28, 3.57mm Throat and a No. 117 Backbore, what would happen to the sound when using this? I currently use the standard 1 1/2 C but wonder if I get a 2nd one modified for jazz. Would this modification be good for jazz? |

I had nearly that set-up 30 years ago when I had a 1 1/4 C with the 28 throat and 117 backbore for playing piccolo trumpet (I laugh now to even think that I was playing pic on a 1 1/4 C). I don't know what you would gain from this mpc playing jazz, but I don't know what your regular mpc is. _________________ Burbank Benge Bb MLP
