Hell's Angels symphonic trumpeter?

Years ago I heard someone tell a story about a trumpeter who won an audition for a major symphony and only after the audition the orchestra management learned he was a member of the Hell's Angels. The yarn spinner didn't have any specifics - player's name, which symphony. I've always wondered if this was just a b.s. urban legend or actually true. Anyone know of an actual event like this?

Claude Berger. He played third trumpet in the Quebec Symphony Orchestra for 10 years and was a professor of music at Sherbrook College.

He does street busking these days. There are a number of videos of him. Clearly it's the same guy.
