Has anyone ever found that they need to go up one rim size wile using pickett? Ive been using bach 1.25c rims and found that the 1.25 pickett rim was a tad smaller. Might be worth trying the 1 size or am I just confused due to the rim shape? |

It's probably just how the rim feels on your face. I always played Bach 1C type mouthpieces and after playing the Pickett 1C for a couple years, I actually switched to the Pickett 1.5C and I am very happy with the results. It's a pretty individual thing, I think. _________________ www.milanomusic.com |

Like Josh said, it's probably just how that rim contour feels on your face. The 1 rim might be a better fit for you...it could also be that your particular Bach 1-1/4 is a little on the large side. Moreover, I've always found most Bach 1-1/4C's to feel bigger than most Bach 1C's because of the rim shape.
Everybody has different lips and different teeth, and we just feel these things differently. _________________ Isaiah 40:8
