Hello All,

Aside from hanging out at the stage door after an NSO concert, does anyone know how to get in touch with Tom Cupples? I'm new to the DC area and would like to try and get a lesson with him.

Thanks!

Look for Tom in the George Washington National Forest. You’ll find him there.
Afterall, it’s deer season.

You could try calling NSO and ask them how to contact him:

National Symphony Orchestra
John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
2700 F Street, NW
Washington, DC 20566
Phone: 202-416-8100

Tom's taking a sabbatical this year from the NSO. He's out of town on a Sasquatch expedition in northern Canada and should be back in D.C. around turkey season.

Little Tommy Cupples may or may not still be with us, but either way, he’s easy to find.

Wherever an infant is swaddled in Jon Deere, Tom is there.

Wherever cowboy boots and a sport coat come together, Tom is there.

When you order one more beer, Tom is there.

When the guest conductor says it’s too loud, and you are not interested in that information, Tom and I are there.

When the Jets win or lose, Tom is there.

Wherever the firearms are.

Wherever Tom Rolfs stories are told.

Wherever hunting and bourbon are, Tom is there.

May the spirit of Tom be with you.

“It’s something unpredictable, and in the end is right... I hope you had the time of your life.”

You’ve got it all wrong. Tom’s alive and safe but he is out of town. He took the month off to travel to Vermont and teach Bernie Sanders why socialism doesn’t work.

He should be back in town for the Verdi.

I can confirm that he will be in town and playing on the Verdi. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks Steve for chiming in. I'm familiar with safe spaces myself.

So, about the original topic. I talked to Tom recently and he's ran out of minutes on his cell plan. He has one of those pay as you go plans, as some of you know.

You see, Mr. Cupples has a problem with the exorbitant taxes the FCC places on our telecom industry, so he's been working on trying train his carrier pigeons to communicate.

To the original poster, If I can get a message to him, I could get his carrier pigeons address and he could get in touch with you?

Hey everyone, things are getting a bit silly here, so let me steer them back in the right direction:
If you really want to get in touch with Tom, I believe he spends a lot of time in an underground command post, deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker, somewhere under the brick and steel of a nondescript building, where he hangs out with some guy named Mark Levin. Could be hard to locate him.
