Great way to advertise and get over on the Moderators is to have a "Poll" and innocently mention your product in the Poll. |

Man, that's funny - another classic from John Mohan!
Seriously tho folks, I'm not sure about all those systems and chops exercises!
I tend to go with things that are standard, been already written, and that I know work.
For instance, Charles Colin, schlossberg, Clarke, octave rips etc.....
Indeed, not one size fits all. The secret is in the air speed, and is how you approach range in a correct way. Efficiency is the key and sensible regular practice.
Happy Xmas everyone and don't do too much practice on Xmas day!!

It is not the method that gives us success. It is how we approach the method that gives us success.

Proficiency in any register, low middle or high, is a function of technique, not practice regimen. It's about mechanics...the positions and interactions of the lips, teeth, and tongue...not which lip slurs you're doing. Anybody who tells you otherwise is either delusional, or a con-man trying to sell you his "method" book. |

Thanks!
I should have made it clear though, that video is not mine - it's from Bruce Chidester and he deserves the credit. I just posted the link to it. |
