Good Morning;

I'll be in St. Louis this weekend, and I was wondering if there were any recommendations for music stores? I'm specifically looking for a good C trumpet, as mine isn't quite working for me. New or used is fine, and I'm actually okay with "non standard" brands (XO, Sonare, etc.) as long as they aren't limiting my abilities to grow with the instrument.

Thanks,
D

I bought my Yamaha Z horm at Nottleman Music, 1590 Lemay Ferry Road. I tried out several horns in practice room there.

I purchased a pre-owned Bach Strad 43 there. Good folks, great prices.

Best,
Mitch

Good Morning;

Thanks for the info on Nottlemans. I emailed them, and they only have 1 C trumpet in stock. I'll still try and check them out.

Thanks again,
D

You also might try Mozingo's Music.

When I go to Kansas City next, I’m dying to visit the Best American Craftsman shop downtown. B.A.C. Brass, their trumpets and trombones look amazing. They do have a store as well that they get for trades.
