Long story short: i've got this new custom mouthpiece by Curry and is cut for Bob Reeves sleeves. Now: some sleeve fit easily (as the "useless for me" #1), some other (the one i'm using a 6.5) don't. I've forced the sleeve and it get stuck. I've managed to pull it out but i was wondering if there is some sort of "trick" to make them fit easily. I use the same sleeve on different pieces.
Btw, the same sleeve fits perfectly on anoyther custom Curry i have.
Thanks for your help.

When you say the sleeve gets stuck do you mean it is too tight on the shank? Have you tried using slide grease on it?

Yes, i've tried with grease and heavy oil (Hetman 5 & 6). It helps a little but not too much. If i force the sleeve it will go in place but then to remove it is very difficult using various tools and time. Obviously something i cannot do "on the fly". And the sleeves gets bruised and scratchy (my hands, too ...).

I don't know if it's tight on the shank, since it enters flawlessy until the o-ring i suppose is tight on the final part of the mouthpiece (after the o-ring).

Well ... i've found a solution myself: i've used my Dremel with an appropriate tool in the inside of the sleeves. Very gentle, one step at the time and the sleeve(s) now perfectly fit all my mouthpieces.

if it slides onto the shank until where the O ring is, that means its not too tight.
If you take the O ring out does it slide on? could be too thick of an O ring. If its still tight without the O ring, it means the sleeve is bent out of round near the end
