I recently found a trumpet that my friend had sitting around for years, but i noticed this red dot. Is it possible if its red rot and if so is it possible to be removed? |

Hi Thatoneguy
The link you have posted does not bring up an image, rather it brings up a lot of search results.
Take care
Lou
Edit - Have now seen the picture. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it doesn't characteristically look like red rot to me. _________________ Trumpets:

It's a little difficult to tell from the pic if that's red rot or not... if you pull the slide and look into the tube with a flashlight does there appear to be any bumps /indents on the inside? The good news is that even if it IS rot, that inner slide could easily be replaced IF it ever got bad enough. _________________ Adams Gold Brass/Nickel Flugel
