Aaron Schuman, a master's student at Rice, won this audition (the finals were last week) and will play a trial week. I think there were 6 finalists, including Aaron, Tristan Clarke (Principal in Jacksonville Symphony), Rainer Saville (MM student at Rice) and three others.
A huge congratulations to Aaron, and best of luck to him on his trial week (whenever that may be). |

This is for Associate Principal. Other finalists were Ray Riccomini, Craig Morris, Ansel Norris from what I understand.
