So I've been working on the Neruda (on Eb) for awhile. I have a piano accompaniment (play along) track, but like with the Haydn and Hummel, I'm sure I would enjoy a full orchestral version more.

An internet search did not reveal anything. Any options you know of?

Thanks

Sorry the link doesn't work correctly...TH doesn't like the parentheses.

Cut and past the whole link into your browser bar and it will work.

Went to the link. Not looking for sheet music, but an mp3 accompaniment track (like a Music Minus One type).

The IMSLP link does include the Finale files for a trumpet and strings arrangement. That would allow anyone competent with Finale to create a computerized playback minus the trumpet. Depending on the users sound file library the playback can be lame or decent. Never as good as an actual recording but it's something.

I was hoping for more than a MIDI file....yuck. Would stick with the piano version I have in that case.

I would be surprised with as popular as the Neruda is, that there wouldn't be something out there that exists for it, hell....even Concert Etude has a full instrumented play-along.

Wouldn't that just reproduce the sound in MIDI format?

If I recall, the three Eb concertos had options for piano sound or orchestra sound.

Good luck.
