I think you mean piston and not percent, right? |

Thomann link for Rotary
Only place I've ever seen the "rotary" one advertised, but the only difference I can see is the middle divider looks like it is straight rather than angled the way the piston ones are (Piston on Thomann) _________________ More than one trumpet

Also as a word of warning, it does NOT fit all the way under the seat. It is thin enough to do so (even with laptop in the attached bag) but it is several inches too long. If you're on a window seat you'll be fine but not a good idea for middle/aisle seats.
It is a great case though, super super light and one of the more comfortable to wear cases I've ever had. Wouldn't fly with it unless I was feeling super lucky though (I'm pretty sure it is also longer than most airlines "allow" for overhead bins) _________________ More than one trumpet

I regularly fly with a mix of piston and rotaries, so if one of them works better for both kinds I'd be going for that one.
What I use now is a Reunion Blues/Cronkhite triple, which I love- but the extra protection would not be a bad thing.
I do also use a regular Bonna double, but the flight version seems a lot more slimmed... _________________ Principal trumpet Gothenburg Opera Orchestra

Definitely would be more protective than a gig bag, I don't remember if the middle divider is movable (traveling at the moment).
I think it is nicer as a backpack than any other double (or triple) I've used though. Might be lighter, might not, but the weight is better distributed for me. YMMV _________________ More than one trumpet
