I have a couple of questions about Kanstul, which I couldn't get a response to from them.
(a) Do they still make the BMV (and other) mouthpiece copies?
(b) What is their return policy / trial period for mouthpieces?
(c) How long do they take to make? I'm guessing they don't keep all those pieces in stock.
Thanks for any info. |

And no, I have no idea what their policies are or any other answers to your questions. |
I just noticed the OP is in France. But even though it might be a pricey call (and he might need to make the call at midnight, or whatever time zone he’s in), if I REALLY wanted an answer to a question(s) that were not getting email response, I’d make the phone call anyway.

At the risk of hijacking the thread, the mouthpiece comparator came back online last year, but it appears many of the previous scans aren't available, e.g. the Jettone line, and some of the other smaller brands. Any idea if they plan to bring these back? _________________ MF Fan

I didn’t think Kanstul was still making custom mouthpieces since Jim left. I remember Kanstul taking down the mouthpiece section and information from their web site? Maybe I’m wrong?
If not, who now is doing the custom work at Kanstul? Does anybody know or have contact information? |

Investing in the equipment, materials and full time custom mouthpiece guy seems like a poor, high maintenance investment with little return. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kanstul doesn’t get back into custom mouthpiece stuff again. |

And the worst part is they had that guy and they let him get away.... _________________ Dr. Albert L. Lilly, III DM

And he has his own Mouthpiece Comparator with many of the designs used the greatest lead and high-note players. Check out this list:
