I am just trumpet geeking out right now, am going to get to go to a day long workshop Saturday at the University of South Alabama, am pre registered and they have yet to tell me to stay home, so it is on!

The keynote speaker at the master class is Dr. Cathy Lynch, present president of ITG.

Her assistant, is one Carl Severinsen.

I'm posting this here, because this may be the only group to date that can appreciate how stoked I am.

NM, totally sucks.

I have been sick with the flu for 4 days, and had to beg off today.

No way am I going to expose a 91 year old icon of all I hold dear, to the flu.

The person you're referring to is Cathy Leach, not Lynch, retired trumpet professor @ Univ. of Tenn. and ITG pres. Mr. Severinsen and Ms. Leach at one time lived together in Maryville, TN, but that was a while ago and I didn't know that they were still working together. Nice to hear that. It would be nice to hear what happens at that workshop.
