Buy a Donat mouthpiece; if you're not relax with a normal pressure on the mouthpiece, you won't sound at all! _________________ The least we can do is wave to each other

I bet Wedge players would have a lot of thoughts on the original post. |

Five posts in 15 minutes. Well, at least this one didn't mislead anyone creating new threads with inquiries. It's interesting how many of these have such similar user names... |

What kind of techniques would you use to work on this? |
How about that.
I now realize why I have had trouble with high range.
I need to use an octave key.
Since there doesn’t seem to be one on my piccolo trumpet, I guess I just need to buy one.
So I have a question for Trent Austin, Jack Kanstul, James New, Lynn Nicholson and other music instrument producers.
Do any of you guys happen to sell an octave key as an accessory? No, I’m not talking about a special mouthpiece. I mean, I am talking about that real genuine accessory called the octave key.
I wonder if I can mount the thumb trigger valve of a French horn on my Schilke piccolo?
Hmmmmm

But the comment has value. The shape of the Wedge rim discourages excessive force - I find that I need to keep more distance between my teeth and the mouthpiece than I do with a conventional mouthpiece.
