It'll be 1 to 5 PM Sunday, April 29th. The address is 243 Forest Avenue in Glen Ellyn.
RSVP via this thread and mention the horns you can bring. I'll provide beverages and warn the neighbors (who have requested we do a massed trumpets rendition of The Star Spangled Banner in the front yard at 4 PM).
See you on the 29th! _________________ Jim Hatfield

Vintage:
1911 Conn New Invention Cornet
1917 HN White Perfecto Cornet
1958 Conn 28A cornet
1955 Conn 80A cornet
And three of them will fit nicely in the beautiful Reunion Blues Continental triple case, which is enroute!😉

Can I translate that sentence? Now here this: sweepers, sweepers man your brooms...sweepers forward sweep aft...sweepers aft sweep forward...sweepers amidships stand by to direct traffic! That is all! That is all!
Come aboard, sailor! _________________ Jim Hatfield

Thanks, Brad - the RB triple will be on display (but not for sale)!
Almost makes me wish I still lived in Chicago, I would definitely be there!

Jim Stella and I are planning to attend this year.
We will bring a handful of current Getzen models along with the Edwards X-13 Bb trumpet, the improved X-17 Bb trumpet, the new X-7 Bb cornet and potentially a new version of the X-19 flugelhorn.
We will also have two limited edition prototype horns that we plan to have available this year to celebrate next year's 80th anniversary for Getzen and 30th for Edwards.
I will update if any of this changes between now and the date of the hang. _________________ Adam R. Getzen
