Jim Stella and I are planning to attend this year.

We will bring a handful of current Getzen models along with the Edwards X-13 Bb trumpet, the improved X-17 Bb trumpet, the new X-7 Bb cornet and potentially a new version of the X-19 flugelhorn.

We will also have two limited edition prototype horns that we plan to have available this year to celebrate next year's 80th anniversary for Getzen and 30th for Edwards.

I will update if any of this changes between now and the date of the hang.

OK Adam that makes me want to drive up from KY for the hang. I mean I've missed all you guys since I moved, but a chance to play an X-13 again? Well...

If I do come up I will bring my

Bach 43B project horn, work in progress #tryingtodialitin
Yamaha 915 Picc
Yamaha 631 Flugel

Wow, that's exciting, guys!

Now we just need to find a second for the duel.

Adam Getzen coming? Cool! I have a 50 year old Capri C trumpet and a Getzen 300 D/Eb to show him.

Can't we all just get along and love Portillo's?

All the best,

Oh man, of all the luck: the 29th is the Arlington Heights Concert Band's Sprint Concert. I'm principal and already committed to the show, so I kind of have to be thereno hang for me this year.

I was really looking forward to it, again, too. Have fun--gonna miss everyone.

Cheers,

Portillos!! Almost forgot about those places!

For me though, my next Chicago/suburbs visit will have to include White Castle and Connies Pizza (South Side), or maybe Aurelios Pizza! Dang, getting hungry.....😎

Brad, you gotta add the Honky Tonk BBQ on South Racine where, besides great eats, you can hear these guys on Sunday nights:

Will definitely be there...which will be 9 for 10. Looking forward to it. A great host and a serious trumpet crowd.
