Not trying to break the world but after watching the finals and the award ceremony, I am extremely baffled by what NTC judges consider good playing. Back the good old "higher faster louder" thing, I guess. |

Well it's all subjective. That's how these competitions go. _________________ Please join me as well at:

Would you mind elaborating? It's all subjective so you can't be wrong. Nonetheless, I am interested. _________________ 1981 Bb Bach Stradivarius 37/25 ML raw - Laskey 60C

I find it's usually of little value to rehash things like this. Typically frustrations like this are a result of a friend or colleague not winning, so doubt is cast on validity of the winner(s). I'm too am guilty of having done the same thing in the past... But the judges for NTC are more than qualified to select winners. Any issue with their selection is probably best directed to them privately instead of posting it publicly. Imagine how the winners might feel if after doing hours and hours of hard work someone says that they only won because the judges have poor "judgement". |
