I have a student who is considering Indiana when she begins college after next year. She would be studying to become a music teacher. She is currently a junior in high school and is a really fine player with a beautiful sound.

I wish I could take some credit for her skills, but she has been with me for only about 6 months and came to me with all of her current skills. She's so good in fact, that I had her join my quartet at church for Christmas and Easter services.

She visited the university last week, and I know she'll have an audition next year. So my question to any staff, students, or alumni there is: What should she be working on to prepare for a successful audition, and also a successful transition to college? Thanks in advance for all of your advice.
